  33.         As we are responsible for the releases of the fab European Top 20 and
  34. also will deal the Scene Oscars Rewards, we decided to arrange a Huge
  35. Conference in Sweden. This will for sure be the biggest Conference ever
  36. arranged in Sweden! The Scene Oscars will be awarded and dealed out at the
  37. Conference.

  39. Where and When?

  41. The Conference will according to the name be held on Halloween 93. The
  42. Conference will be held in the 4th biggest town in Sweden, Jönköping. It'll
  43. be situated in the Centre of Jönköping in a huge conference centre.
  44.  
  45. Facilities:

  47. - 6 BIG conference locals for special invited (300 persons in each).
  48. - A huge local with place for over 700 persons.
  49. - A Real Restaurant 24Hours/day. You can buy real food any time you like.
  50.   Also Candy, Chips and Junkfood will be available.

  52. - Plenty of showers and toilets to avoid that awful smell.
  53. - 24hours cleaning staff to keep it possible for you to walk around.
  54. - 2 TV Channels with PERFECT quality will be broadcasted with hot movies on 1
  55.   channel and 1 channel with party info.
  56. - Big-Screen to show Movies and contributions with perfect quality.
  57. - Perfect Hi-Fi sound equipment for demo and music competitions.
  58. - Local computer stores will sell hard-ware and disks 24hours.
  59. - Lazer Disc player to show the latest movies.
  60. - Luggage room to store your equipment safely.
  61. - A Synthesizer Concert with the best computer-musicians around.
  62. - Loud-speaker system to provide you with the latest information.
  63. - Conference BBS with the latest stuff and all party releases will be online.
  64. - A Discoteque nearby, for those interested.

  66. Scene Oscar Awards:
  67. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  68. The Scene Oscars will be awarded the second day. Those who are nominated to a
  69. Scene Oscar will be told, so they are present at the conference. If you are
  70. nominated and not present you'll loose your chance to get a Scene Oscar of
  71. 1993. A Jury will pick out who will get nominated and also use the first day
  72. to decide the winner in each category. The Jury will mainly consist of
  73. Editors from famous Scenemags, which will be asked to join the Scene Oscars
  74. Committee during the Spring 1993.

  76. Competitions:

  78. Of Course we will have the usual competitions, Demo, Music, Graphics and
  79. Intro Competition. We think we have prizes which you'll think makes it worth
  80. comming.

  95. - Real-Time Demo Competition from Scratch

  97. - Game Competitions
  98. - More competitions will be stated later

  100. Rules:

  102. - Boozing not allowed.
  103. - Smooking not allowed inside the building.
  104. - No fighting inside the building (Outside we don't mind).
  105. - No breaking of the conference centres interior. You'll have to pay for
  106.   everything you break with a high rate of interest.
  107. - All non-computer crimes will be reported to the Police according to Swedish
  108.   laws.
  109. - We don't take ANY responsibilty of the distribution of Copyrighted
  110.   Software.

  112. We have hired a proffessional Security Force which will make sure those rules
  113. are followed. If you don't follow, we won't take ANY responsibility what they
  114. might do to you!

  118. We have invited a couple of Newspapers, TV and Radio Networks, some big
  119. computer magazines and Software Companies.
